Delphinium

Inspired by spires of delphinium flowers growing along cottage garden fences, this blue-violet
can be used to paint a range of florals (including the obvious delphinium, anemones, and sweet peas), animated skies, still life work, and landscapes.

Artist’s Notes: Delphinium is more blue than Manganese Violet and Dioxazine Purple, but more violet than Ultramarine Blue. It is less intense than Indanthrone Blue.

Paint Maker’s Notes: Delphinium is made from multiple pigments.
