Fig is a deep, rich purple-red with a cool undertone. Fig is a wonderful choice for organic subject matter, landscapes, and abstract work.

Artist’s Notes: Fig is redder than Hellebore Purple, and duller than Quinacridone Violet. This
colour can separate when used in heavy washes creating interesting and unique textural effects. In Eric’s words ‘ Let this one surprise you and use your imagination! The effects are wonderful if you surrender to them.’
